Class Requirements: 

• Dogs must be 12 months or older 
• Current set of vaccines

Take your dog’s training to the next level with our Everyday Obedience Level 1 class. This class builds on your dog's existing skills and introduces more advanced skills. We'll make learning fun and engaging through exciting training games and reward-based methods. Prepare to enjoy a more confident and well-behaved dog as you master real-world obedience and skills.

Class Requirements: 

• Dog and handler must have completed one of the following classes: Puppy Pre-school, Puppy Kindergarten or Everyday Obedience Beginner. Please email before registering if you are unsure if another facilities obedience program will qualify.
• Current set of vaccines

Take your dog's training to the next level with Marvel Dog Training Academy’s Outdoor Everyday Obedience Level 1 class! Learn to navigate real-world distractions and challenges alongside our expert trainers.

Building on the foundation of our indoor class, we'll expand your dog's skills through engaging games and exercises. Our sessions will take place in various locations throughout South Calgary, including Glenmore Park and Fish Creek (exact locations will be emailed to registered participants). 

Class Requirements: 

• Dog and handler must have completed one of the following classes: Puppy Pre-school, Puppy Kindergarten or Everyday Obedience Beginner. Please email before registering if you are unsure if another facilities obedience program will qualify.
• Current set of vaccines

Our Drop-In Classes are designed to keep the momentum going with your dog’s training while adding a splash of fun and excitement. These sessions focus on:

Fun Pack Walks: Join us for engaging pack walks where your dog can socialize and practice their skills in a real-world setting. These walks are a great way to reinforce good behavior while enjoying the company of other dogs and their owners.

Obedience Refresh: We’ll revisit and strengthen the core obedience commands learned in Level One. This is a perfect opportunity to ensure your dog remains sharp and responsive to your cues.

Working Around Distractions: Life is full of distractions, and our classes will help your dog stay focused and well-behaved in various environments. We’ll introduce different scenarios and distractions to challenge and improve your dog’s concentration and obedience.

This advanced class is designed to push you and your dog to the next level. If you have plans to acquire your dogs Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) or Therapy Dog certification, this is the perfect starting point. 

We'll build upon your dog's existing obedience foundation, focusing on impulse control, distractions, and reliability for real-world application. Through engaging games and exercises, we'll refine commands, improve focus, and enhance your dog's overall behaviour.

We request dogs and owners have a solid foundation before signing up for this class as you and your dog will be tested as we are working towards CGN Testing and Therapy Dog Testing with a solid pass.

Class Requirements: 

• Dog and handler must have completed Everyday Obedience - Level 1 class or have trainer approval. Please email before registering if you are unsure if another facilities obedience program will qualify.
