If you’re looking to bridge the gap between training and trialing, this workshop is designed for you! Our Novice Obedience Competition Prep workshop focuses on helping teams build the confidence, consistency, and ring-readiness needed for successful trial performances.
We’ll cover key concepts such as reducing and fading reinforcement, successfully chaining exercises together, proofing for distractions and ring pressure, improving focus under stress, and creating reliable performance in a trial environment. The goal is to help handlers better understand how to transition from practice to polished competition routines.
Dogs should already have a workable understanding of all Novice obedience exercises in order to get the most out of this workshop. Whether your goal is to enter the ring for the first time or refine your current performance, this workshop will help strengthen both your skills and your teamwork.
