Puppy Classes
At Marvel Dog Training Academy, we believe in fostering a strong bond between you and your puppy while teaching essential obedience skills. Our training methods are gentle, effective, and designed to be enjoyable for both you and your pup.
Our Puppy classes focus on building a solid foundation for a well-behaved and confident companion. Each week, we’ll cover essential obedience commands, handling techniques, impulse control, and socialization exercises. Dog socialization isn’t about making your dog love everyone—it’s about creating a stable, well-mannered dog who can confidently navigate the world without jumping on people or rushing up to other dogs, because their focus and trust are with you. We teach you how to build that unbreakable bond so you become the center of your dog’s world. Our goal is to equip you with the tools to raise a happy, well-rounded dog.

Marvel Dog Training Academy’s Puppy Preschool class is designed to set you and your puppy up for success! By investing in your puppy’s training early on, you’ll build a strong foundation for a well-behaved and confident canine companion.
In this puppy class, you and your puppy will learn socialization skills by creating a stable, well-mannered dog who can confidently navigate the world without jumping on people or rushing up to other dogs, how to manage common puppy issues, how to make puppy training fun and build a positive relationship together. As an added bonus you’ll have access to a video diary of week to week skills that are taught in the class.
What you can expect to learn in class:
- Basic obedience: sit, down, stay and place
- Foundation for a reliable a recall
- How to build neutralization to various stimulus
- How to achieve loose leash walking
- Build a solid leave it cue
- and more!
Class Requirements:
- Puppies must be 2-5 months old by the start of the first class
- First set of vaccines
